connecting through music
OUR MISSION
Altissimo Arts is a Philadelphia-based chamber music series dedicated to crafting immersive, multidisciplinary experiences that transform any space into an intimate and captivating performance venue. By seamlessly integrating classical music with compelling visual storytelling, we open new doors to chamber music—particularly welcoming younger and more diverse audiences. Our vision reclaims chamber music’s original essence: personal, engaging, and profoundly connected.
Beyond the stage, Altissimo Arts is deeply committed to community engagement and public benefit. We have organized performances across the city—from Fitler Square to Washington Square—bringing music directly into public spaces and making the arts more accessible to all. We’ve fundraised in support of the William Way LGBT Community Center, collaborated with the Philadelphia Dance Academy and Evolve Dance, and partnered with Philly-based artist Broke Lanier. Our concerts have featured poetry and compelling visual narratives, including a special presentation curated by Penn Museum historian Florence Hsu. We also celebrated the Lunar New Year with a unique event at the Acorn Club, among many other creative and cross-disciplinary collaborations.
